Not trying to be a dick, but why would you even try to drive in like that? That puddledefinitely looks like either a straight through or around sort of puddle, but not half and half! Lucky you didn't flop it into the puddle. :D

Damn Brad you were really lucky that a couple other trucks were around to help you back onto semi-dry level ground. Was that at the Den?

he could of just slid off the side of the high ground

I guess I should have explained the circumstances. I was driving on the high part on the drivers sie of my truck. I slid left and corrected to the rigth. Turns out I over-corrected and went off the side. This "little" ditch is aobut 5 ft deep and I am extrememly lucky I didn't flop over.

Nathan, it was at the Den.

Looks like the tank trap at the den! I remember that area well, just past that point is the mud bowl and dust bowl!

and now that also explains why you needed my stock speakers…how we first met huh? LOL

Hey haven't forgotten about those CV's, just been real busy as you can imagine working a few bugs out (had to remove my steering box day before yesterday due to a faulty seal) and finishing up the roll cage! I'll try and get them to you next week!

I am also working on getting the rear gears along with the rear ARB and install pinion shims and add some length to the e brake cables.

After that all I will need is the front driveshaft and to go try it out on some "uneven ground"…wish me luck on finding some here in Indiana.

Yah I had the windows down and my roomate was in the pass. seat so he got a face full of water. I got the windows closed and then it started seeping in through the doors.

Bear, that is the reason I got those speakers from ya. Even though they didn't work. LOL

I did not get any water in the intake. I even had the K&N intake at the time. Wasn't even wet.

There's always something to say about white trucks with mud all over them -- that word is COOL! :)

Damn Brad, got pulled out by a Dodge and a Chevy!

actually it was one dodge, one chevy and one jeep (not pictured). the jeep was there to pull from the side to keep me from going over.

It took all 3 of them?

it was really muddy, not a lot of traction. like i said the jeep wasn't really pulling. it was just there to keep a strap pulling me sideways to keep from rolling.

O.k. who is the u-boat commander! Damn, betcha had to change your britches!! I see more aggressive tread and a winch in your future, or maybe an outboard motor mounted on the tail gate!

I don't why they wouldn't have worked, other than installer error.LOL

All I ever did with them was take them out of my truck and they were working when I did that.

After three years, and you are now just telling me they didn't work? I just ran across my box of speakers the other day and thought about you, I should have just given the entire box to you! should have been able to find something that worked!

I didn't know Taylor was in the "dunking booth" for that stuck! That could explain a few things on why he acts the way he does.

I don't know what was wrong with the speakers. I replaced them with some new ones and all was good. Taylor really enjoyed the dunking, but there is no explanation for the way he acts...LOL

I put a cheap fix posting on the extended ebrake cable. Use a master link from motorcycle chain. Or use several links. Very strong, flexible an easy to unhook to work on. No special tools

cool idea on the motorcylcle chain! hadn't thought about it, I may look into it. Right now I am kinda working from the front of the truck back fixing little nagging issues…right now I am just at the cab area. I should be to the rear axle and area at the end of the week.LOL But I will definitely keep your suggestion in mind!
