What Tranny Cooler should I buy?

Okay, 01, V6, Dcab, auto (duh), and I want a tranny cooler because I pull toys and such in the mountains. So, TRD has its little jewel for over 200 bones with neato brackets and such.

Now, I know there are others out there that are simply clipped to the radiator/AC business. Much cheaper too.

What's the general take on this?

i think a hayden 678 is the biggest you can fit..... the old man when get gets around to reading this will chip in to what he has in there

Thanks. I just cannot see shelling out the TRD money for theirs. I put one on the S/C taco and it was just an aftermarket one... Worked fine.

Hayden makes the TRD tranny cooler. The TRD kit has all the Tacoma parts but is more expensive than the Hayden. The guys at Toyota Tech on Iowa and Boulder in CSprings installed mine. Works great.
