I have been told that I can only run 16" rims on my 04' Tacoma. Is this true or will I be able to run 15" rims without any major problems?
Thanks

Tons of people run 15"s. I just know that there are some issues with backspacing and clearing the calipers. I run 16"s myself, but Im sure there are plenty of people here that can enlighten you on which ones fit.

I was hoping to fit the 15x8 Mickey Thompson Classic II rims on there, but it doesnt look like its going to work for me. If I can not work this out, do you think that the 285/75R16 will be too large for my truck, I am running a 3"suspension lift in the front, 2 1/2" suspension in the back w/ 1" body lift. Do you think the 285's will clear... or will there be way too much rubbing??

it should clear aright..but you have to run the right backspacing...many people here run 3.75 backspacings....maybe a pinch weld mod could end it....but it might still rub....during full flex...

You can also run the 15" alloys from older Tacomas.
