swapping speakers

While I'm waiting for the flange to get here (Wednesday) I've been gutting my interrior to change the color. While I'm at it I thought I'd upgrade the rear speakers; the stockers are 10W 4 ohms. would it be ok for me to replace them with some that are rated 100W 4 ohms? (they are the same size-4")

Yeah it will be fine, and i recomend while your gutting the interior go head and put a new head unit in it, 100w get something that has 50w x 4 like a pioneer or something so it pushes them just fine,.

The new speakers will be fine, but they'll be underpowered with your stock stereo. If you decide to get a new one I can help you install it.

Thanks Brian, but for now I think I'll keep that tacoma double din I bought from Jon last year.
