Im in the process of ordering a 2" RB body lift. My question is concerning the radiator drop brackets. Is it necessary to do this at 2"? I dont see any kind of hose clearance issues or anything like that. Am i missing something?

I think its to keep the fan centered in the radiator shroud. Someone correct me if I'm wrong... :o

Yes its for the fan shroud. And trust me it easy takes maybe 10 minutes.

Just do it, the fan and shroud will thank you for it.

Yes you need to do this. Even for the 2". You don't have that much clearance between the fan and shroud.

do it, do it, do it now! Yeah, like they said, it's the easiest part of the BL.

Anything over 115 is overpriced.

alright!! thats the kind of response i was looking for from everyone. thanks for the help.

Yes this is Logan

Shaun-- I havent actually ordered it just yet. im thinking ill have everything at my house by the end of february. rear bumper, sliders, new coilovers, camburg arms etc.etc.

As far as the price goes, im more concerned about getting it right the first time and getting the better hardware and the shifter extensions and so on and on...just my personal opinion. But again thanks for everyones input.

Logan, check this out man:
http://www.parksoffroad.com/tacomamods/rb1inchbl/rb1bl.htm

This is for a 1 inch, but it gives good instructions for a BL.

Really? When I emailed Roger Brown he told me a 1" kit with ultimate blocks and grade 8 hardware was $125 plus shipping.

I think the price differences are coming from using generic body lifts such as performance accesories and others which dont always have the correct hardware and peices. whereas the RB lifts are vehicle and customer specific so you get exactly what you want AND need and nothing else.

I think I'm going with either a 1" or a 2" body lift as well.

The bad part for me is my ARB and winch. That'll be a PITA to re-align. I'm thinking of just putting a plastic strip in the gap and not moving it at all.
