Do you have any measurements on how tall it is. Front and rear frame height with size of tire. Just trying to get an idea with the PA lift law statign no higher that 30 inch frame height. Also, what is the overall height. Thanks, looks awesome, great job.

Its not my tuck... and I wont see him again till next weekend. I could take some measurements on my truck if you like. And I could get his this weekend when he comes over.

That would be great, just trying to figure out how to keep it low without removing my body lift, if it's possible.
THanks

What travel shock did he go with. Looks like a Bil 5125 just want to know what travel since that is next for mine after I get my 8 inch springs from Alcan. Who's front drive shaft is that? High Angle? Looks good. I knew I should have bought a dub cab

It actually has a 2" body lift that we are going to end up removing! So it is a bit tippy!

He went with the 14" Bilsteins (sp?).
The driveshaft and the flange are from highangle driveline. Its a CV style drivshaft to keep down the vibes at higher speeds. If you rotate your knuckles you will be able to use a CV shaft with no problem.

I've got the same adapter and my shaft is out at Jesse's right now. I thought it was his I wanted to double check. Is he going to be able to run those 14inchers after you can the body lift?

Sweet!!!! Did it take you long? Its an easy mod! I never had a problem with just welding them stright to the unplated frame. But just to be cautious I plated the frame and used gussetts. Im sure its plenty strong.

I have the same setup on my truck and I run 14" shocks. Most people that I know out there are running 14" shocks. :) I dont think you will have a problem.

Excluding the neighbor coming over and gabbing, it took me about 45 minutes! Might have taken me longer but I was using a "desposable grinder" which burnt up so I had to drag out my 7" which sped up the cut time!
The welding would have taken much less time than it did, but as I mentioned neighbors and rainy weather slowed me down.
I plan to plate the frame in the near future, even though everyone is telling me it is not needed(what do they know, they either drive domestic or know nothing of offroading) Just been trying to mark off my very long laundry list of things to do, and haven't got to the plating yet!
I wanted to plate the frame at the time of my SAC'n, but we had some other issues taking the time so I by-passed the plating. I figure I can plate the frame up to the gussets, and then tie the plates into the gussets for the added strength. I know it is bit of back-asswards way of thinking but it should work…especially since hydro assist in my future anyway.

Thanks for the info. I am running the 14's up front so I'll get a set to match. I haven't put any real pic's up yet since it doesn't have a bumper on it until mid this week and my ass is still low. I am laying low until it's done then I'll bust it out.

forgot to ask. Does his springs and bushings creak like a mofo with articulation. Mine squeak if I step on the breaks and I get a mild clunk when I turn the steering wheel that I think is coming from the tierod ends. I plan to go out today and look when the wife gets her ass home from work so she can man the wheel.

Alot of that is just the nature of the springs. My springs clunk becasue they are hitting the spring clips. And they creak really bad. Its kinda a hit and miss thing.

The shackles on the rear of the truck should be jkmetalfab.com
I hope they fit ok. I think Ron means he made the rear shackles on the front springs.

Becaause if you get 8" lift springs they are going to have too much arch and not flex at all. I have run 3" blocks with my setup (including topper) and I have never had a problem. And if you do have axle wrap problems then you can add an anti wrap setup.
