View Full Version : how to find two tone paint code?

I know the code of my regular paint, but the two tone on the bottom half i cant find anything to match it. If anyone knows, please help me out!

its a 2000 reg cab, green on top, sometime of gray on bottom........

if repainting something and trying to match. I'd suggest ging to a auto paint place, I'd try a supply place not a body and paint shop, and have them color match. the orginal color probably won't match too well as your paint has weathered some.

im not to worried about it matching, i just want something to halfway cover it. Im replacing my front fender and will need something on that small section too......

pepboys carries some prematched colors notsure on if toy paint colors or not. to be done right, you should reshot the whle fender with clear after color. its my understanding that you can't jsut mask off for the clear.
somewhere on here is a post on where to order factory paint colors in rattle cans. might be on the old brd.

the code of the second tone should either be on the body plate next to the reg code. or sometimes the paint code on the door will show both colors on a computer when you look the code up.
