After thinking the problem was in the front end and spending around $1600 to change the gears, new cv's, new front wheel bearings, and adding a locker for my troubles. The problem ended up being the carrier bearing on the rear drive shaft. The drive angle did not look bad to me, but I am not a pro at this yet. Patrick at 4x4 Customs saw the problem and we spaced it 3/4" until we could get a replacement bearing and the noise almost went away. After we installed the new bearing and spaced the carrier bearing 1 1/2" the problem does not exist anymore.
I would recommend anyone who has a 4" lift and above that has not spaced their carrier bearing to do so. It will greatly improve the life of your bearing.
I have also learned that you can not trust what you hear from the truck. I thought the noise was coming from the front and it ended up in the rear.
