Can you tell me what color my truck is?

I have a 98 Tacoma Ext. Cab and it's kind of a blueish, greyish, purple mabye type color. Anyone know what it's called?

I would be interested in seeing pictures of people's rigs that are the same color. This would help me know what mods would look good.

1997 - Lavender Steel Metallic
1998 - Cool Steel Metallic

Both are paint code 926 I believe.

Is yours really a TRD? Take good care of yours... there are fewer and fewer of the all the time.

i agree, it is a pretty sweet color. That and that weird orange-copperish you see occasionally.

Like others have said, it's paint code 926, Cool Steel. Not sure how the color of the truck affects mods though. Bigger tires, lockers, gears, winches, etc, go with just about every color! :D

Nah, mine is silver. The actual paint color name is 'Pewter Pearl'. So...ummm...yer on your own. :neener:

"Pewter"....lol. As Mike said, the color of your truck and mods dont really fall under the same category..My friend just bought a 00' Purple taco (he defends himself by saying its blue-ish), but when he put a lift on it I stopped giving him as much shiat cause it actually looks pretty nice now.

I un-gayed my purple tacoma by putting a 3" lift, black toolbox, black rims, and painting the grill and corner lights black. My friends dont make fun of me so much anymore. But mine is even more purple looking than that cool steel color.

I have a reg. cab 2000 model toyota tacoma that is horizon blue (8N1) Unless it was repainted before i got it it is at least.... Everybody that sees it says it looks great and they have never saw one like it before .....it is kinda a purpleish blueish grayish color it is darker that yours is (cw50must)
