TTORA Black Moose March/April

Black Moose ORV Park (I guess that is what they officially named the place) is a new park in GA just north of Atlanta, in Dawsonville. Basically the edge of the appilatian foothills. This is like 20 minutes from my mom's house, about a 5.5 hour drive.

They are talking about holding a gathering there for the southern TTORA chapters there in april or maybe march, but it looks like everyone wants april from the thread.

For some of us it might be easier to get up to this rather than Tellico because its alot closer (no mountain driving) and is in alot closer proximity to civilization. There are a bagillion parts stores and grocery stores a short drive away. They have onsite primative camping w/ port-o-pots but I will be staying at home if I go with the heater, anyone else could stay too.

This is something I think i would rather try to do than Tellico in early June. Just my :2cents:

I'd go, but why did they name it Black Moose OHV? There aren't any Moosing or Micen in Ga, Black ones at that. Why do they have to be black?

As I said in the GA forum I will see what I can do but I doubt it as my newly expected daughter should only be about a month old by then. Heres to hopeing!
