Just want to know from those of you with Hoes on your 05+ Taco how much you cranked them down and how much lift you got.
I have a 03 V8 4Runner which is quite bit heavier than the new Tacos. I installed my Hoes a while back and only had to crank the driver side 3 turns to level. So current I have about 1 1/2" thread showing on my passenger side and 1 3/4" on the dirver side. This gives more than 3" lift on the V8 4Runner, which leads me to believe the Taco comes quite bit higher in the front from the factory compared to the 4Runner. Looking at the upper A-arms on the dealer lot of stock 4Rs and Tacos (TRD) it definitely looks like the Tacos a-arm sits quite a bit lower.

2" of thread showing on the drivers side, slightly less on the pass. side. No CV issues yet, but I still rub when hammering the front end through rough stuff with the wheel turned.

Thx, so how much suspension lift did you get with the Hoes cranked the way they are? The fender measurements will be affected by the tires as well.

I cranked mine up a few more turns last night, fenders measure 40" now and I still rub in the woops. I am going to see if I can get the alignment shop to push the tires forward a bit more and I am getting shit together to build a bumper to make room up front. That stock pos is going in the trash.

Not if you take your before/after measurements from the center of the wheel.

After I put mine on I went to a dealer with a tape measure. Found a DC OR (shortbed) and measured ground to flare 35" front, 37" in back.
Either you got some sagging going on or that longbed is rreeeaallllyyy heavy!
