Just looking for more pictures of your trimmed bumpers. I have seen the writeups but none give a good profile view. They are all head on.
Peetie
Here's a head on of mine. If I can't find a profile I will go take one.

I didn't spend too much time cutting mine, so the sides aren't perfectly equal.
Here's a side shot of the side with the broken mount.

in case you are still looking for pictures of trimmed bumpers, i put a 95-97 front bumper and trimmed the valence, relocated the turn signals. and i think it looks pretty clean

I really like this idea and I like the look of your trucks. I know about the write up, bumper trimming (http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/tech/tacoma_front_trim/) but want to see if you guys had any other pointers? When cutting the bumper, how do you keep from a jagged edge?
I used a dremel and I ended up melting the plastic in a few spots causing a jagged edge. I could work most of it off, but I put the door trim on it anyways. The door trim will make the most jagged of cuts look nice. I could care less that my cuts aren't identical, because this should just be temporary.

i added superbike signal lights to it when i deleted my big stock turn signals. You can see them in there if you look . they are small but are very bright.

A jig saw with a good, sharp, medium tooth blade followed up with corse, then fine sandpaper will leave a flawless edge. Be sure to use masking tape to protect the parts that will remain. The tape also makes an excellent line/guide for your cut. I put my truck on ramps for the cutting just to be more comfortable.

I have even more pictures of the front end on my yahoo link below.
It will take alot of trimming after you use a jigsaw or dremel to get the stock turnsigs to fit in the chrome. Use a metal cutting/trimming dremel bit to finish it up after you cut your original hole in the chrome. Any questions go ahead and pm me or I can reply on here.

Another option is to relocate the turn sig bulb to the corner markers. I did this on Sat; much easier than I thought it would be. Cut the part where the bulb unit locks into the stock turn sig housing off, then used plastic epoxy to attatch it to the corner marker(after drilling 1 1/4" w hole saw). Really clean look, can be done in an hour (after getting the epoxy), no wires cut and can remove/ change bulb just like before. Also, if/when I go to tube front bumper, won't have to relocate turn sig again. There is a write up under "corner marker" that helps with where to drill the hole, but there seem to have been some changes (bulb size) since the authors '98.
