James, that's the same one that my dad and I bought and we have loved it! It will weld everything we have come across, and burn a hole in it if you're not careful!
We usually weld on D-2.5 with flux core wire but sometimes if we are welding to the thin toy frame, we have found that it works best on the C setting. It get's plenty hot enough, and sometimes too hot.
But, all in all, we have been very happy with that machine!
Have fun with it!

Its easier to weld with than my stick welder. It runs a constaint (sp) wire no changing rods when one burns up.

I know i'll like it ive been holding out for a 220v wire welder. Ive used other wire feeds in the past and was using Kyles up till a couple weeks ago.

Daniel, have your bumpers built! Don't buy them from somewhere. Like my rear bumper, I could have done alot better if I had been patient! Alex in Athens built my front bumper for alot cheaper than some competitors. You could probably even get away with buying the materials and some beer and making a Saturday of it at somebody's house.

Where has the resident buggy builder been? I'm sure he can build one for you when he gets time.

tube bender?! we don't need no stick'n tube bender! i'll call my best friend chuck norris to just glance at the steel and watch it bend itself :D
but seriously i was thinking more square tube, to match my sliders ya know.
