I thought I heard that after you donate to the forum, you can change that title over your avitar ( newbie or member ). If so , how do you do it?

I have no idea what you are talking about. I found how to change it under edit profile.

We're trying to raise $4000 for two new web servers that will be placed in a nice data center in Oakland, CA. Once the new web servers are up and running, you will be able to have user@tacomaterritory.com email and also some web space for your truck pics. I think we are up over $2500 so far, shouldn't be too much longer before we can get the hardware.

Bob's in charge of deciding that, but they are going to be 1U servers with mirrored drives, and lots of RAM.

If you have a nice hookup on hardware, go ahead and get us a quote.

I have an HP 2U server sitting in my spare room. Dual 700 MHZ, and two hot swap harddrives. If that would be of any use, I'd let you have it.

Hi Ted, thanks a bunch for the offer, but they have to be 1U servers because of space constraints (cost per U).

When did you donate? Did you include your TTORA screen name in the Paypal transfer or on your cashier's check? Which method of payment did you use?

I dont think so...but Bob waits for a 'batch' of people to setup. He just does not have the time to setup an account one by one. I dont know if he sets up at 5, 10, or a hundred...but he told me he does them in batches.

Hell, I donated a while ago, and mine is not set up either...no biggie though (to ME)...
