If you post on DR than you have been waiting to see Newline's new Trophy Kart in action, here it is for those of you that haven't seen it.

It looks like they are trying to market them to people who would be interested in ATV/quad lke the Rhino. They are said to retail for around $5500 for the stock out of box model, but will be available with engine and suspension upgrades for more. Not bad considering it beat a Rhino in the vid and is half the price...

Yeah, mainly considering their price point. I could only imagine how much fun it would be to race your buds in those things. But you don't want to be the only one of your friends with one, otherwise it will be in constant demand. "Let me try now!" I bet Newline is banking on that...

Those are like pocket bikes but in trophy truck form! I was laughing my ass off through the whole video. They should start a damn racing series with just trophy karts! Future TT drivers would have a place to start somewhere official just like the INDY guys.

This is a qoute from RDC, "They will come with a black powder coated chassis and a 10 hp motor. You can order it with a different color at an additional charge. Its a very strong 10 hp lots of torque. No reverse though. The motor is a 265 cc"
Best bet would be to call Nestor directly and he'll give you the 411....but this is what he said on DR
"Hey guys, hope you liked the video. That was taken this weekend at barstow. The truck in that video is Brett Kings truck. He loaned to me so Ican give you a teaser. The in the video you'll notice a Rhino in the backround. That was actually a random person I stopped to see if he wanted to race me through barstow main. The footage you saw was of me actually pulling away from him. It took us three different runs just to get him comfortable going as fast as he was through their. Its very hard to see but there are some huge we were going through. The Rhyno was no competition for the Trophy Kart. And Yes the Trophy Kart has a stock motor. The goal of the teaser video was to show how much fun you can have with your friends with a stock out of the box package. Of coarse motor upgrades and suspension upgrades are available. The fact that the starting point of this product already exceeds the performance of another product that goes for twice the price is kind of nice. There's always some one that going to want put a bigger motor in something no matter what it is. These toys are meant to be fun. Get a group of your friend together and nurf each other just like if you were in a real race without having to worry about serious injury or damage to your truck. If you feel you want to be the first Trophy Kart to break the sound barrier feel free to run our bigger motor option or put your own motor in it. I'm just trying to keep the trucks affordable and fun. "
