Ok, every now and then when I take off from a light or whatever it feels like my hole drivetrain is jumping around under me? Its only at take off and then it goes away. I checked for bad u-joints but all looked good. Greased them all up also. It cant be axle wrap can it? I guess maybe it could be a motor/tranny mount. Gotta check though. Any other ideas? Thanks!

is it a manual? i had a mazda pickup with a manual and i somehow managed to warp the clutch plates which caused it to shake for afew seconds at take off. it didnt matter how much gas i gave it, or what gear. thats all i got for suggestions

I had a chevy that did the same thing. I put in a new clutch and had the flywheel resurfaced and it took care of the problem. Hope that helps.

Mine shakes a little bit on take off in the morning when I first go. Sounds sort of like yours but alot less severe.

Does it do it in reverse too? If it was a clutch it would. It it is a drive line angle problem it should do it all the time unless it is caused buy the pinion turning up under hard aceleration.

It does not due it in reverse. Its very speratic (spell?) I can tend to make it happen if I am almost stopped but still moving and then take off again, Hope that makes sense. I know its not a driveline angle problem. I will just have to start checking everything I guess. Maybe its cause my rear main is leaking. If oil gets on the flywheel that wouldnt help would it?

The rear main shouldn't get oil on the clutch unless it was leaking so bad you had to add oil all the time. If the front trans input seal was leaking that make get the clutch wet.
If you take out the rear shaft and drive on the front that would rule out the rear shaft as being a problem and you would be one step closer to taking the trans out.
If you do the rear main seal put an input shaft seal in too. I had mine leak oil all over the place. Also check the pilot bearing on the clutch. If it is bad it will cause the clutch to chatter as it tries to find center when it ingages.
Does your motor lift up if you power brake in 1st or rev? Broken motor mount
