So by paying the 50 bucks you can reserve your camping spot at the park.. is that what you are sayin about saving $5 bucks?

By prepaying you are saving $5 from the "at the gate" costs.

Online the park fees cost are actually:
$45+tax or $55+tax if you opt for the membership

At the gate you will pay $5 more.

Camping is a completely seperate deal and you need to call ahead or email me to reserve a spot. All camping fees will be collected at the park office, everyone will check in upon arrival.

Just for reference TTORA is getting a great price break for this event.

Normal day use fees are $25 per day if you do not have a membership.

Members pay $50 once a year and $12.50 at every visit after that.

You are getting 4 days worth of trail access for $45.

A three day weekend for someone walking in off the street will cost them $75.

are there only a limited number of spots?? what's the cap?? does signing up on the main page not hold your spot?


*edit - I guess if I would have clicked the link I would have saw 200 is the cap. I just paid.....

I signed up and preregistered for the takeover but recently found out that I will be out of the country during that time. I sent an email to the email address that you have on your paypal account. If you would plz shoot me back a pm on here or an email that would be great.

BJ, got a quick question for you on riders, need more of a clarification more than anything.

I have one vehicle, and my wife and kids are planning on attending this event with me this year.

Is there a rider fee that is different from a participent/driver fee or is everyone regardless of age required to pay the full event registration fee? The only one that will be driving is myself, except maybe my wife but only when the vehicle needs to be moved out of someones way.

Here is my equation if it simplifies the question…myself+wife+plus three kids (ages 15,12,7)=full price $225 plus tax

Is this correct?

We do not charge for passengers, as long as they have their own seat belt they are good to go.

Great! thanks for clarifying for me! I never take all three of the kids out at the same time since they are getting older and the back seat of my extended cab seems to be getting smaller. :D But every person in my truck does have their own seat belt! (as well as a roll cage over their head! yes I have a roll cage in my taco–I have kids right? It makes it easier to tie them up on long trips. :rofl: )seriously though I take mine and my kids safety very seriously!

BJ, one final question from me. can we use pay pal to pre-pay for the registration? I don't want to go through the on-line forms just to find out at the payment screen you do not accept pay pal.

one of the ttora members in texas who forgot to register at the orvpark website said that the registration is closed, will he still be able to register at the gate?

Yes, Registration will be available when you arrive we have plenty of room and there will be no cap on the number of attendees neccesary.
