Intake Question

I took a good look at the FJ at my local Toyota dealer (was having the tranny flushed to switch to Amsoil ATF), and noted that the intake tube goes into the fender, but I see no place that obviously feeds that intake. Does it just draw air through the various gaps in the fender? Or is there a hidden intake snorkel?

prob the same as my tacoma that has the little elbow thing that goes into the fender...just draws it from the fender gaps...if you pull plastic back and look up there you will see a lil tube that it takes the air from up inside the fender...my suggestion is put a snorkel on it if you want or just do a deckplate mod..deckplate mod and a snorkel is what i am running so i plug it up with i do into deep water and the snorkel just connects right to that tube in you fender...good luck bro!

Have you seen the FJ motor???? I would love to see a deckplate mod on a FJ...
