I know its a touchy subject but does anyone know the averaged TT&L cost of the FJ compared to the MSRP on the Toyota website? What did ya'll pay? A local Toyo dealer had $29k for a 4x4 6spd sticker price.. I realize there is prolly a waiting list, but I 'm willing to wait..

Thanks ya'll..

I think right now, if you get it at sticker, that's a pretty good deal. Haven't seen anyone who has gotten one more then $100 under MSRP. Figure roughly 8%-10% for T,T and L (could vary a little from state to state).

Here is San Angelo they did have two in stock, no waiting, but you would have to pay msrp + 3000 demand blah blah blah that the dealer added on.

No, went to ASU and then just stayed. Its a very nice city, and only like 6th in crime in Texas.

Last week I went to the local toyota dealership and saw that there was a $5000 "Area Markup"!!!!! Bringing the grand total up to about 35 grand. Auto with the rack setup and other senseless goodies. I'm in Wilmington, NC by the way. I'd grab that one for 29 if u can.

The markup here is 3000, and the list of add-ons is crazy. I found 8 different add-ons in the installed list that are stock on the truck. BS if you ask me. It was the first time that I have seen 3 different "extra mile" options on one unit.

Yeah back in 2000 when i bought my Nissan Xterra I tried to haggle and the dealer was like - people are paying $3000 or more above sticker price. I told him that those people were idiots..and I paid sticker price. Sometimes you just gotta do that when a new model comes out that is a hot item (like the FJ and my Xterra back in 00).

Well, ours are loaded to the gills too, with a $5,000 bump to boot. Crazy thing is, they're selling within hours...
