Getting picture resized for Avitar

I have a picture that I want to upload for my Avitar, but it keep telling me that it is too big. How do I resize my picture to the 80x80 requirement.

I am not sure what kind of picture editing apps U have on your computer... but a dirty way of doing it:

Open Microsoft Paint
Open the Pic U want to edit
Goto "Image"
Select "Stretch and Skew"

Then keep reducing and saving the pic until it is accepted as an upload.

I know there are quicker better ways, but if U don't happen to have a pic editor... this might be your only solution...

There is also a tweak in power tools if you ha ve XP. You can download it, and picture resizing is as simple as right clicking.

down on the right you can download imageresizer.exe. It's a prett cool little tool.

I'm around, everytime I head towards my parents place I look to in your area, but haven't seen you either. Hey we are probably going to get a run up to Paragon or Rauch Creek here in the next couple of weeks. Should be a good time.

How did you get your AVATARS that big?

Just crop the image to be square, then resize and compress it to meet the requirements :)
