SOLID INSTALL! Way cheaper than some fancy "made to fit" crap too!!! Great idea! Now you need a few down in the grill on a bull bar! :)

Looks great outside, but that hanging wire and electrical tape is a big NO-NO!
Hide it and you will get 5 out of 5 stars on the install!

How sturdy is that cross bar with all those lights. I know the ends are just made of plastic. Looks like the first tree limb may take the entire bar off.

ok i DO have a question....
i dont know if your FJ is the same

i have side pillar/curtain/everywhere airbags....

how are you running your lights wiring ?

im not a fan of sticking it through the pillar with the airbag in there, personally....

Well, I was able to snap to 2" branch (a dry dead one)with them with nothing but a few scratches to the lights. :D

I used a couple of 4 pole trailer wiring plugs. Mounted one under the dash, then made a patch cable long enough to reach the light bar. Where it pugs into the other 4pole plug. So when you want the lights to work you just plug them in, then use the switches to turn them on & off.

Yeah, Old thread I know, but I saw your picts in another thread with the lights... Are those the 100W KC's or the 150's? How well do they light up the place at night? I was going to go with almost the exact same setup, using the real wheels light bar mounted at the front of the roof rack and 4x 150W KC's.

There 100w. KC's. They are very bright :welder:. When there on its hard to look at them. Four 150w's would be crazy bright. :D
