I found this guy who is parting out a 96 v6 4x4. I talked to him tonight and basically the front end is f'd up. He has sold the the motor but it sounds like there are other good parts left for grabs. I told him there may be several people here interested in parts. The only catch is the guy who bought the motor said he wanted the truck too but only paid for the motor.Fortunately this guy hasn't been in touch for two months If I can convince this guy he is better off parting this thing out, he'll go for it. I'm only interested in the driveshaft and possibly a rear axle shaft. It has a good 5sp and manual hubs so I fig that might be worth it to someone here. I am supposed to wait for his call tomorrow to let me know if he will part it out. Is anyone else interested in anything?

I tried talking to this guy a couple of weeks ago. Seemed pretty set on letting the original buyer take the truck and wanted to wait on him. Guess he may change his mind.

get ahold of the buyer of the engine and see if he will let you have it! make him think it will cost a rediculous amount to get rid of the body/truck. then we can part it out and get rich

Its a 96 6cyl manual tranny that's damaged in the front. The person who's selling it doesnt really know what's going on with the truck. I've spoken with him several times. The person who baught the engine claimed almost two months ago that he was going to purchase the whole truck but has not been heard from since. Person selling the truck, Matt, is a very fickle guy, I would'nt trust a whole lot that comes out of him untill you have the item in your possession.

if for whatever reason mud doesn't want the front end, i'll take the hubs and CVs.
that is of course unless it goes towards someone's 4x4 conv.

If he still has the intake air box I am interested.
I think I got a 3.0 (3VZE) airbox in my attic at home. Granted I won't be home for a couple months but if you remind me in October I'll look.
