After breaking my front springs I am going to be running the toyota rear in the front. I finally got around to working on the truck last night and now I have a questions. I also read the pirate4x4 writeup, but it didn't answer some of the questions I had.
On Pirate it looks like alot of the people running the toyota springs are making hybrid packs. For those of you who have the rears up front, How are yours packs compiled? Are you using the stock packs w/ the overload spring?
If anyone feels like posting up some pics that would be cool too.

I made mine a hybrid between some existing unkown name leafs with my rear toy leafs. Its really a trial and error thing. I know Neil has taken his apart and put them back together several times before he was happy with the ride and lift. I got pretty lucky and only had to do it once. Although one side is starting to sag a little so I will rebuild them again when I get around to it. I made 6 leaf packs. The ride and flex are great but I would like them to be about an inch or so taller. Here are a few pics of mine. The best thing you could do is find 2 sets of springs, take them apart, and combine them to make a descent arch and dont ride totally flat when under load . Oh and DO NOT use the overload leaf. I hope I helped. Just ask if you want to know anything else.

Man, that is a great help. Thanks for the pics also. I set it down on the stock rear pack and it flattened right out, so know I gotta figure out what I am gonna do.

My most recent uses the full rear pack,#2 leaf from a superlift 4" pack.
it is a Trial and error system. If you still have any of the procomp intermeadiate leaves those would work pretty good.

Thanks Nick, I appreciate the offer, but I won't be able to work on it tomorrow. I gotta help my wife clean out her classroom tomorrow.
Well I added 1 procomp intermediate and was able to get about a 1/2 inch which should be good for now. Now I have to relocate the steering box, shock mounts, and build a drive shaft.
