Day run Sat the 27th [Archive]

Just wanted a clean thread for organizations sake.

Saturday May 27th to the Ocala pits.

B-pit for sure and we will scope out other options.

I plan to leave saturday morning by around 7:30am.

Jax guys who post up can all meet out at the kangaroo east of middleburg at the 21-16 jct by 8am or so.

We can hook up with G-ville guys at the little gas station at 301 and 441 probably between 9-9:30am.

South guys can meet up with us in Ocala near NW 70th st and I-75.

I am posting a disclaimer on my behalf that gives me the right to opt-out at any time do to my daughter or finances. I should be a definate go though.

Other than that, post up if you want to go and lets go have some fun!!!

And for those of you who cant make it that day because of work or whatever, please feel free to go ahead and organize other runs for either sunday or monday, I am sure many people have all three days off (lucky bastards :mad: ) and would love to join in on all the fun!

The Runner seems to be doing good. I'm in and I'm also thinking about making it a camping trip and staying at that camp ground the MLK camp out was at. If no one can make it Sat. then Sun will be fine too. Oh and just it wouldn't be my luck if my Runner ran perfect after I fixed something, I fixed my exhaust leak and my damn winch doesn't want to work. :confused:

Thats cool. I cant camp. I just plan on running for the day until mid to late afternoon. I might have to bolt earlier if my wife is freaking out. It is our first time leaving Elizabeth with a sitter and Lesley is not likeing it very much. :rolleyes:

I am off, but I don't see having my truck back together in time, unfortunaly. I didn't get a chance to work on it at all this past weekend. And this week is not very promising.

also do you still need leafs? a friend of my parents has a toyota frame with i beleive the 2.7l 4cyl rear leafs, transfer case, i think front driveshaft, gas tank, basically all but the body and rear driveshaft. im not sure if hes selling any of it but i can ask if you need anything. its a manual tranny too.

Why do you keep call me "captain moderator"? The only reason I got piss in the other post was cause that guy giving my shit about my other truck. No one seemed to care about the new member I was introducing.

He maybe able to go on the ride this weekend BTW. I looked at his truck today and it looks like it has a All Pro hanger kit but I'm not sure on which springs he used. He has 5.29s and detroit true tracs front and rear so it should do very well offroad.

You know me, I am always just screwing around. Life sucks if you take everything too seriously. I keep calling you that because you are the only person on our tiny little board who has called for moderators on more than one occasion. But like I said, Im always just haveing fun!

I hope your buddy makes it. The more the merrier and I would love to see his rig in action.

Now can we get back on this day trip and figure out who is all gonna go? Later.

As for the trip this weekend I can't say for sure I'm going to be able to make it. My clutch is making some odd noise in 1st gear when taking off and does it more offten when I'm in 4lo. I don't want to get out there and have the clutch go out on me with Joni and Emily. I think the the noise is the pressure plate springs or fingers getting old and weak. I'll post up a for sure answer Fri. evening

I've told my student about the trip and he doesn't know for sure if he's going to be able to make it cause his wife is visiting him for the long weekend. He says his engine has a bad vavle tap and he is going to try and adjust them.

So it looks like 4 out of five of us can meet up at the kangaroo outside of the burg (8AM). Nickcuban, it looks like you will have to meet up with us north of ocala at I-75 and NW 77th at one of the gas stations there (probably around 9:45-10am). Anyone else who wants to come make sure you post up before tomorrow morning or just meet up at one of the specified locations.

There shouldn't be any water to worry about in B pit.

I talked to MadDuce today and he said that he will be going. He doesn't have a computer in the Baracks so he only logs on once or twice a night. He was working on his truck when I talked to him and he called me later to say that every thing came out good. I can't say that for my Runner, I think my Alt. is going bad cause my battery died again today. A new one from Auto Zone is $150 so I'm going to hold out on buying it new. But I will be there tomorrow and will have a spare battery on hand just in case.

Yeah but it isn't on 40, its on 326. You get on 326 from 40 right as you are leaving the ONF and a few miles out of Ocala.
