Cleaned Fuel Filter & re-used

Pulled the fuel filter off my runner, and back flushed it with the garden hose and some compressed air. TONS Of crud came flying out :eek: . It's been on since I bought the truck about 3yrs/25K ago. I guess I used a Napa gold; I don't remember! All I know is I replaced it when I bought the truck. Figured I'd pass it along and you guys could try it and save the $25. :2cents:

I don't know about doing that. I'd rather spend the $25 and know that I have a NEW filter to stop anything from getting in my injectors which wouuld cost more then $25 to replace.
