Any good camping up near Spring Creek?

Hi All,

Since Jenny Creek is un-runnable at this point we're thinking of moving over towards Spring Creek. But we need a place to camp near by. Anyone know of any good spots? Anything near the trail head, or near Dumont, Georgetown, or Idaho Springs? If you have GPS locations that would be killer.

I just have no idea what is up there as I have yet to run spring creek.

Your best bet is probaly up by mount evans i would guess

Colorado 4x4.org trail report from this week.... Said Jenny Creek has tons of snow, more snow than is normally up there this time of year.

I am not sure where Spring Creek is but I found some amazing camping by LaSalle Pass just northwest of Wilkerson Pass lastnight. Went there last night and went wheeling around there today and found some very remote camping if anyone is ever interested in camping that way.
