NEW 27th day run thread for pics/videos/comments

i figured a new thread would be best.

SO i had an awesome time, im amazed at what my truck can do... even though its nothing crazy, it still impressed me. i have some pics and videos to post up, so ill do that soon.

thanks to everyone that came out. it was my first TTORA wheeling trip and everyone was nice and spotted me (since my truck is small) throughout the hard part of the trails.

well we all went to B-pit and then some went north and the rest went to eurika pit (sp?).

B pit, there are some fun trails that new to be improved. My chainsaw will be with me next time to remove a couple of dead fallen trees.

We didn't go to A Pit cause the group was too large.

Me, Drew, and Nick went to Ereka pit. Drew found out that his front IFS lift had a broken bracket and was causing his diff. to shift over and his CV shaft was hitting the bolts. So he was stuck to 2wd. My Runner's charging problem came back and my battery died and the fan drianed all the lift from the battery causing my Runner over heat. So we called it a day and we limped home to get ready for the next trip.

I have some new body damage, I put a even bigger dent in my pass. fender and got a new dent in on the drivers rear 1/4 panel. I also have a nice tire rub mark on the pass. door.

I really wanted to see how MadDuce's truck would do in the pit but his wife had just gotten in and they went to silver springs to camp for the weekend. We were leaving B pit when he called to say they had set up camp was ready to wheel. He decide to just still there and I would have done the same if I didn't get to see my wife everyday. There will be other trips.


I had a really good time but it was hot as hell.

Yeah, we had a good time today even though it was hot as hell and my truck broke. Should be an easy fix though. It was a cool place to wheel, and it was interesting to see how Nick's taco performed. I thought it did pretty dam good for not having many mods. I also managed a few more small dents and a few not so small scratches/pinstripes but that's cool. Now I don't even want to mess with fixing the ifs, just want to :saw: !

yeah i have the video of you hitting that tree, not sure if i posted ti yet or not... well it kind shows, but its also when you smashed your bumper on that rock. pretty sweet

Myself, Neil, Nick, Steven, and Drew. Stevens buddy from work fallowed us down but didnt get to wheel with us cause he was setting up camp somewhere.
