I've been back since late friday night. Hated to leave but I had to go to a wedding party on Sat. (they picked a great time to plan it lol). Ran 8,4, and 5 (maybe?) with some of the NC guys, Ted (from Virginia), and the Toyota people with their new FJ cruiser earlier in the day. Went right back out for a night run of 6 with Colin, Christian, and Brady and left Crawfords a little before midnight. Damn fun trip, only wish I could have stayed longer, one day of wheeling was definately not enough.

damn!!!!!!! i tried calling you guys, i guess thats why i couldn't get thru. i was gonna come back on my way home from knoxville but i figured yall would be back at camp by then.

the caravan got back to camp on sat. about 2:45am, i didn't see how that jeep got by the rick. I heard ten ppl had to hold ricks truck up to one side to allow that jeep by.

It was a long and eventful weekend! My first wheeling experience in the drivers seat was in an FJ (trail 11) and then my second driving Colin's truck down trail 5. I've always enjoyed being a passenger, but actually driving was amazing. Thanks for being so paitent with me! It was so good to see y'all again (GA TTORA) and put faces to forum names. Thanks for the sweatshirt Bud!! I can't wait for the next event!

The second strut shaft on the trail master lift sheered in half and so did the 4 bolts holding the strut to the lower ball joint. Also, the inner cv was pulled out of the cup when it all broke.

I feel for you guys, I thought we had alot of carnage and were late getting back to camp. Then we passed you guys! That sucked major balls! Glad to see everyone made it back safe and sound :D I hope everyone had a kick ass time other than that one catastrophe.

NCTTORA collectively broke:

*Everything but the shock mount and leaf spring was broken on Sat!

1 Birf
1 CV
1 Knuckle (3 studs sheared off)
A leaf(main one of course)*
1 shock
1 shock mount*
a corner light(stupid quad ran into Mark)
1 tranny skid
an oil sending unit wire
2 popped beads
misc body damage
1 windshield was popped out on purpose after the cab got friendly with a tree, but it did not break :D

I think that's all, nothing too critical. I think the worst was the spring since it was the main (i.e. attaching) spring. Shawn(Metalmangler) and his crew came through with a brilliant repair on that!

Looks like you guys had an exciting trip at the expense of Rick LOL. Great video but warning for the bandwidth challenged it's about 42MB! Who is the brave soul in the brand new black FJ cruiser with what looks like 30" street slicks? Looks like another FJ in the pictures too, how did they fair?

And to clarify the black FJC was a guy from NC I believe and the silver one was one of the FJC Trail Teams trucks. The other FJCTT was blue but wasnt wheeling that day.

the black one is a guy named caleb i think...goes by realmenapex on the boards

silver and blue ones were the trail teams...i dont think i saw the blue one move the whole time i was there though...

they claimed they took either 2 or 3 up slick rock a coupla days before...tough to believe but a couple of guys in the nc group had a few pics of a yellow fj conquering the actual slick rock obstacle...didnt have any pics of when they got to the ledge though
