It has been said that I have more bad luck then good and I feel this is true.
While in SC last week I took my KTM 400SX for some really trail riding (not the boring FL trails in SC). The trails in SC are tight with lots of sharp turns and trees on both big and small. I've riden these trail alot with only a few close calls with tree to bike contact. It had rained the night before some the trails were very wet with most of the whoops filled with water. Everything was going good on the south loop until I came up too three water filled whoops in a row. I shifted to 3rd at the 1st one and wheelied across it, the 2nd was a short one but I still wheelied across it, the 3rd was about 20 ft long and I had lost the speed to wheelie across and it was really long. So I shift to 2nd and tried to wheelie as much of it as I could which was about half. Coming out of the hole my front tire followed in someone else's rut and put into a nice size tire. Left side of the handle bars and the radiator shroud hit the tree and down I went. This has been the worse I've ever crashed my bike. It broke the hot start/decompressio lever and ripped the radiator shroud off. I didn't get hurt just a brused knee which could have been alot worse. I still went one to ride finish the south loop and go on to the north loop and the south loop again, all together I did about 50miles of tight fun trails.
