I know the modified tundra axles are used to retain 4wd with LT, but what about T-100 axles? I keep seeing people selling these saying that you can use them to retain 4wd with LT but i wasnt too sure about it...

you can use T-100 axles on the older toyota pickups with lt to retain 4wd. Tacomas need Tundra axles to retain 4wd with lt.
In other words they are not the right size for a tacoma with lt.

Works for the rear axle though...whats the status on your build Derek?

yea just as greg said, its actually not the length thats the issue its how it comes to play with the spindles and diff, older trucks almost use a cv type setup utilizing bolts to hold the cvs on then manual hubs for the outers, where newer tacos unless they have manual hubs use the add system that has them always enguaged....
