MDR McKenzies 400 Lucerne Valley, CA June 24th

Any one going to this race? It's this Saturday. I'll be rolling out with the DMZ crew to get dust blasted. Should be nice and hot. I just like to see the 1450 (prerunner) class tear it up. Contigency is on Friday unfortunately I will not be able to check that out. Hopefully we'll see some of you out there! :headbang:

He will already be there. We were going to meet up with him. My buddy with the longtravel Nissan Titan and I were rolling out on Sat. We'll see you there! :driving:

yeah, gold cab ranger Ernest lol This time he was in his bling ass goldish van that would give the OC guys and Camburg a run for their money.....ok, maybe just the bumper part :D ..but still cool non the less. Another night at the shop and look for a good finish this race by 1482. It's either going to be on it's lid or a podium finish is our motto this race lol :xbeer1:

I believe that was Frank Vernola last season when he raced 1450 sportsman. He now has moved up to 1400 IIRC Is this the one you're referring to?

Mcadwell, aren't you the only Toyota on that team? lol We'll see you up there. Mike is not taking his Scion after all, but bringing his runner. Just look for the camo, snorkle, and caged doors! lol This time if we see you at one of the pits I'm going to leave Mike with you this time lol

Ok, the race truck and RV is ready and heading up now. Just the usuall stuff tomorrow morning (prerun, test and tune, weld up broken parts lol) before contingency. See you guys up there and good luck to the linked trucks because the leaf trucks have an advantage at the rockpile!! hehe Advantage = TC this race!! :D

I got some good shots. I was at the rock pile, Pit A, Pit C, and somewhere all over the course. My truck was riding pretty damn good with stock shock valving. Anyway I am lagging with the picture situation. I will post them as soon as I find my camera. :rolleyes:

yeah, at Pit A we started to get them slowly but surely. Everytime our Chase 1 (the blue tacoma with the silver streak) came back they would tell us it was getting so bad at Pit B"ee" some had to evacuate. I was about to go back to RM 10, 11 where we saw Geoff Falzone earlier, but they needed us at Pit A.

Blowntaco, was Nicole pretty upset about the Locos Mocos frequency? We appreciate you guys working with us and we'll have to remedy the frequency thing for the future..

I don't think Nicole was upset, just frusterated. At pit C we had one radio that was on that frequency and main couldn't reach us because of all the radio traffic from the Giant boys. To be honest, I was laughing my ass off at one point...."HERE I COME YOU MUTHER FUCKER........(nerf)" good times for sure.



I wouldn't chat and BS up that channel next race though....you might have some people go "chaotic" on you... :D

hahah yeah, it's good times when you channel surf listening to all the funnies. I wish at the different pits we could afford more radios to be able to listen to the comedy, yet keep track of the race vehicle.
