Looks like from u-haul it would be like $400-$500 to rent a trail to go that far. The Buggy looks like 12’ long and 4.5’ wide and that won’t fit in the back of the Tundra or Taco we got.

Yeah thats why I say its a long shot but wanted to try, how big is your bed lol http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=470952 -this is how I was going to transport it back to texas

btw all its only a chassi its not the motor or axles and all the heavy crap

Tundra’s bed is only 6.5 feel long so there would be about 6 feet sticking out the back. I wouldn't feel comfortable driving from Oh to AR with six feet sticking out the back.

I thought about renting a uhaul to go out there to get it but it would be close to 2k  by the time I got back to texas. I would be able to give 250 cash no problem but might be able to do more :o

You might want to check some freights shipping places probably would be in the $300-$400 range just a guess on freight cost. Witch is about the same amount it would cost if not less to rent a trailer.

The 35 coming back might be do-able. I would have never thought freight would be that much cash wow, I have to say I was just guessing at the cost and it must be that high because of size. The other problem I have even in renting a trailer to get it is I would have to go to Columbus this coming weekend and pick it tow it home and then to Take Over. Avplus is from Columbus and he might be able to bring some things back as well but I don’t want to speak for him.

Man this is just another reason why I and to buy a good double axle trailer.

I have to see what my truck looks like with all the gear packed in it before I can tell if I can fit the tires. Also would the person that wants the 35 be able to pick them up in Oberlin it is about 1.5 hrs north?

I would have to check with him but i'm sure he wouldnt mind since it would save him from driving to nashville

Just looked up some other freight place that he said he has used in the past and the quot I got from them was 380 to hot springs woohoo!! or 480 to texas and i'm sure it would cost me atleast 200+ to make the drive out to nashville or 400+ to make the trip out to ohio

I just wanted to let folks know if some one else can help out that will be cool. I had to back out because I will have to much stuff in the Taco and not enough room for 4 35”. I do have extra space for small stuff and could bring gear back for some one if they can take the tires.

I don't think I'm gonna have much room in mine either, between the tool box, the 33" spare and camping gear I don't think I'm gonna have room for anything large

I think I am back in the game on this. After doing some math and talking to Bear about how his 37” fit, I think I can manage. Terry if need be could I put some small gear in your truck for the trip back? It might be one cooler.

I think we could do that, If it came down to it I could prob do one tire if we got a little creative but I haven't done a test load on my truck yet to determine how much space I have. Most of the camping gear I'm bringing belongs to Missy & Jason and I haven't picked it up from them yet so I have no clue

Yeah I am packing into the coolers right now. Most of my gear will ride in the coolers to Taker and Hopefully back. I have space behind the seat but trying not to fill it too much, because I would like to have the ability to recline the passenger seat. :D

Well 4 35” tires will fit in the back of a regular or ex-tended cab Taco with room to spare for gear.
