Kirk, Grumpy and I Ran Axle Alley this past Saturday. I had a blast introducing my Lil' Brother in-law to rockcrawling. Grumpy got to test his new toy with a VERY LARGE SMILE on his face (he's not so Grumpy anymore) and I got to test out my new shoes. The trail lived up to it's reputation for carnage......Grump sliced a tire before we even got to the first waterfall......Kirk sliced a tire and lost a bead on the first waterfall and I got to experience the last 1/4 of the trail with no power steering!

To quote my Lil' Brother in-law..."Holly crap!........we're going to go that way?" :D

I really want to go wheeling, But I have been a puss this summer as far as the heat goes. I dunno if it's the fact that it has been a lot hotter then normal. Or if I have just lived here to long and I'm starting to hate it. Anyway, Is it October yet? Highs in the 70's kick ass!

I do have to say that they always make it right to the best of thier ability..........so I can't fault them there. After having a short conversation with Tom & Kelvin they seem to think that alot of my problems are coming from the short hose runs I have due to res. placement etc. The system is overheating and boiling out of the cap and blowing the seals from the heat/pressure (most of which I have been assuming all along) I'm crossing my fingers that extending the hoses, adding a cooler and hooking up my ram will remedy the problems.

Must be. No air they are 39.5 so yours may "expand" aired up too, also they have some wear on them. Anyway that is one reason why they are commonly called 40's. :)

I'm looking for one that fits! :neener:

...After talking to Tom again today he suggested a high flow tube & fin style cooler but I need to see if I can find somewhere to cram one.........I will probably go with this one...
I just need to take a few measurments to see if it'll fit somewhere that gets airflow.
I can't remember where i saw it, but i've seen some that have an integral fan and temp switch, so you could mount it somewhere it doesn't depend on the engine cooling fan.

I've seen those too...........but they are real expensive!
