Jacksonville members,

Wanting to know if anyone has experience putting in gears that would be willing to help me out in the near future put in 4:56's in my 2001 DC 4X4.

I dont think anyone here "officially" know how to do it right yet. Your best bet would be to hook up with someone who has done many sets before. I know there was one guy that a few of us went to for a while but I think Mike K was having some trouble with him? I believe Steven (USMCracing) knows a new guy around here that might be good? Whoever you find, let us know if he is anygood when you are all done. Good luck!

Oh and welcome!

I might hook-up with the tampa guys as well if no one can help me here. Thanks for your quick reply.

I also know a guy here in Gainesville that knows what he's doing and will do it for $150 a piece if you bring him the 3rds.

North FL Offroad (here in Jax) will be seting up my 3rds later this week. Tim the owner of North FL Offroad is the one who will be doing the work. He's charging my $250 a pair of 3rds. I know he does good work so I don't have any worries about his skills.

I was about to say go see Tim. He did all the work on my Wrangler, and fixed it everyweekend when I broke something else. He's a great guy, you just have to deal with his severe ADD. And he is excellent with gears.

Those are both TRUE with him. I'm droping my 3rds off at his shop Fri.
