Damn, how fast were you going if you are concerned about loosing your license?

I think its 24 over if your under 18? or 18 and under? Automatic arrest if you're going 100mph. Not really sure. But then if you have a certain amount of points on your license you can lose it or just as bad, your insurance can drop you.

Why not tell us how fast you were told you were going? ;)

Talk to the solicitor and see if they will lower it to no points if you take defensive driving.

your oldest ticket drops off your record when it hits 1 year old....you can only take defensive driving once every 5 years for points reduction....don't think that just because you went and saw the judge and the judge lowered your fine that you are safe....the state doesn't work that way....i have gone to court for every ticket i have gotten and they have always lowered or helped me out on the fine and i still lost my license twice due to having 6 points on my record in one year....so if you have not taken defensive driving go take it now and take the court your copy of the papers saying you took it and completed it...i believe that takes 3 points off your record each time you take it and then you will be fine...just make sure you do not speed or get any other tickets for 5 years or if you do make sure they are spread out over a once a year time period....anyways yea i think that about covers it because you are under the 24 mph but i believe that 19 over will still be a 3 point ticket...it's like up to 5 over is 1 point up to 15 is 2 points and then over 15 is 3 points or somthing to that effect....i left all of my official rules and stuff at home when i moved but that should be enough to give you an idea

Not sure if you're safe but from what my "nice little buddy" that pulled me over said...20 over and under and you'll lose your license. Unless you go to court aqnd try to work something out. Ask them for community service also to try to keep your license I'm goona do that for my court date....also from what I hear going to the def. driving school before going to court gives you brownie points as well. If it was in Gwinnett I wouldn't worry so much either most cops and judges around here a relexed, and just want to make sure you'll drive safer next time. Good luck though man. Fight the power!

he's 99.9% in the clear unless the judge is a prick....his last ticket was when he was 16 so that record is sealed permanently....so no matter what that ticket has 0 effect on this ticket

It's too late to type in all the legalities and what not but what everyone is saying, for the most part, is accurate. I wouldn't sweat it, say your sorry and take defensive driving or plea nolo, but remember you ony get one no-lolo per 5 years. I'll get the point scale and all that good gravey to ya tomarrow if I remember.

definately don't plead no lo....wait to do that for when you really need it....this is not a ticket you should worry about going on your record...hang on to that no lo for a special occasion
