TBH will be leaving san diego around 9 am saturday, driving to tecate and then to Hacienda Santa Veronica. if you are not familiar with this place you are missing out. it is the start of many epic baja adventures.
We are stopping there to check in as we aere staying to swim and party after the run, its also my buddies B-day, but all are welcome. Rooms are about 60$ a night.

The Run will leave RSV and head into the mountains to Laguna Hanson. This looks just like big bear minus alll the houses. We will go to the old saw mill for a couple beers, probly grill carne asada tacos by the lake for lunch.
It is about 70 miles from RSV to the lake so we will be topping off either just before crossing the border(this is for those who are misinformed and think Mex gas is bad) or just befor the turn off to RSV where you can get 87 or 92 and its less than 3$ a gallon:D

For this run you will need a cooler, water, snacks. and your normal wheeling stuff. RSV has water beer snacks as well as a restraunt bar.
no LT needed, no 4x4(though there is some optional rock crawlin by the lake), no locker. just a good attitude. i have a CB but i dont think anyone else will.

This is a perfect trip to pop your Baja cherry.
Mike

And thanks for the new folder Shannon!

Shoot Mike!

I didn't really pay attention to this thread initially, because I figured it was a bunch of LT guys going to Mexico to haul some ars...

I would love to go and get my cherry popped, but it's bad timing for me too. I'm going to FL. on the 27th for a week.

Keep us posted on your upcomming trips and I will definitely try and make one..

UPDATE: Just noticed the Tecate in the Vons bag.. I like it!!! :D

AC

Flying into TPA too....

I'm staying at:
Springhill Suites St Petersburg Clearwtr

Clearwater

How come you're flying into TPA and going to Boca? I thought Boca was down south on the East side.

I have family out in Clearwater. Boca Grande is a 2 hour drive south. Be sure to make it to YBOR City. It's a blast. Kind of like a cleaner version of Bourbon street. Good times and cheap drinks.

Another safe and fun baja trip! The deaver 9 pack that Drabnor helped me put on handled beatifully! Where befor i was doing 50 i am now comfortably doing 65-70, the rear just sticks so much better and doesnt hop or wander. The on road ride is also phenominal, important for the winding drive up the 94 to Tecate, imight even try taking off that sway bar.
Unfortunatly we didnt stop to take any pictures as i was hot as fawk and we wanted to get back to Santa Veronica to swim and BBQ!
Next trip will be Tecate to Laguna hanson to ojos negros to santo tomas to punta san jose to surf or santo tomas to fish....
