This Friday Late Afternoon - Aug 17 - Location ??

I wanna go wheel for a few hours on friday after work. I can probably get off at 3pm. I work near washington square in tigard so somewhere near would be good to maximize time. I was thinking Colton Mtn because its close, or some other place that you know of that would be good.

I don't want to do anything hardcore because i'm still a newb at wheeling and my truck is stock.

Anyone wanna come???

Washington Square?? Hey I live by there...I live off of Allen..I get off of work @ 4pm..where's Colton Mtn at? I've never been there before..I might want to go so I can atleast do something on the "weekend" since I work overtime saturday. What time you planning on heading out?

I can leave anytime after 3 probably. If you get off at 4 I can just meet up when you get home or off of work.

I dont' know the colton mountain area, i've just heard and seen pictures of people going up there. If you are up for some blind exploring i can get directions to the area and then we can just cruise around.

Oh your soo soo right. hmm... OK I'm in. Where'd you wana meet at. Theres a gas station in coulton that works good as a meeting spot, or we can meet somewhere closer and caravan over there.

It'l probably take me a good hour to get out there. I'm comin from hillsboro. I'm realy close to TSF, but I think Coulton will be more what your looking for. Plus I dont know TSF very well and probably wouldnt even find more than one trail.

I just found out that I was going to be free really late notice so I thought id see if anyone was free. I guess in the future it would have been good to get your phone number.

We waited at the Kmart parking lot for a bit but figured that you weren't going to be able to make it.

I really wanna head up there again sometime. That was a neat area.

Yea sorry Joe. You didnt miss much though. We hit up a couple of little trails and drove arround a bit. Awsome views up there, especialy of the sunset. Also found out that I dont have a recovery strap anymore. Being just two of us and no recovery strap we stayed on the easy stuff.

well i didnt' want to bash into that tree... but, if the tree wasn't there it looked pretty fun.

I'd like to go up there again sometime with more people and some recovery straps so we can go more places.

I got some new pinstripes on my truck from the tree branches on all the trails. Truck was due for a wax so after I washed it, I waxed it and most of them went away.... and as for the other ones... well... its a work truck right? haha.

no I cant make it to the run this next weekend. I am goign to be down in Union Creek... kinda by crater lake with my in-laws. I'll get a little wheelin in down there. My brother in law has a quad so we are going to go cruise around.

I want the September run to start planning so I can reserve the date. Weekends start filling up for me and by the time the group plans a weekend its already booked for me.
