For the third run in a row, over 12 hours on the trail!!!

So T-bob calls and asks me, "hey, wanna go run Hackberry with a "FEW" of my Jeep buddies?"....I respond "sure, why not, as long as I'm home at a resonable time for a change"

..........long story short, 12 Jeeps roll up at the air down......they make a few Taco jokes and we hit the trail...........3 broken jeep axle shafts(one set being cromo's), one broken pan-hard mount on an XJ and about 12 hours later I pulled into the garage exhausted with a little more body Damage to the same spot I always get BD........only this time I actually broke the tail light that I was starting to think was made of Kevlar or something because I've nailed it 4 or 5 times and only broke the plastic frame until now.

............I think the jeepers have a new found respect for us "Taco" boys now.......... :D

I didn't get any and the Jeep guys haven't posted any yet........ They may need more time to photoshop the jeeps into the pictures with our trucks!!! :lmao:

It was fun, and had changed quite a bit according to others that have run it .........the "powerline" section was really washed out.........only 2 Jeeps, T-bob and I ran that section........I was the only one to get up the first section un-assisted. I don't think you could make it without a rear locker at the very least now........the whole trail is pretty washed out and rocky.

do you mean the really big ledge with the truck eating crack off to the left side? that has always been a bit of a challenge but doable with a locker and good spotting. There was quite a good boulder field above that before, but there was a bypass

That would be the one...........the ledge is completely washed out now and it sucks you into the crack............the boulder field further up no longer has a bypass but isn't real bad with some careful driving (or in my case loads of diff clearance) :D
