I'm considering LT for the rear on my 1990 4Runner, is there a difference between deaver and Marlin leaf springs?

No, amazingly both completely different companies make the EXACT same springs, isnt that amazing?

If you want LT leaf packs you want Deavers.

http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/suspension/springs.htm

Looks like Marlin is 57"-58" long
Deaver is 61-62" long

Marlin is "OEM" spring over"
Deaver is spring under.

Marlin is aimed more at "go slow" rock crawlin
Deaver is aimed more at "go fast" pre running

Deaver has both stock length over axle(56.5), and 62" under axle/relocated hanger/longer shackle. Big difference in performance and execution of duties of those thin pieces of metal: locating and springing the rear axle. By that, I mean a 62" race setup has a hell of a lot less axle wrap, is going be more durable, more travel, more arch, overall better nature of its spring rate.
