Steve's hose did not work. Come to find out my Procomp lift has a hose extension that comes with it. That's what's mangled. So Steve JB welded for a quick fix, but it's not holding up. Called Procomp and they gave me the part # for the pressure line I need and I am currently on hold with 4wheelparts to order another pressure line. $59 to $65, not too bad.....

just got off the phone with 4WP and the part should arrive Friday...$78.47. Could have had it shipped via air, but $45 additional for shipping seemed a little much. So I'll just be limpin' the truck around, constantly adding power steering fluid until the part comes in.

Travis, was that extension to have came with the kit? :confused:

If yes and 4WP installed the kit for you, then it is their fault for the damage and should PAY for the replacement hose and install.

Hope this helps and still no go for me coming by this Tuesday. :(

I'm not sure what you're saying, Nathan. The extension DID come with the kit, and over time, the extension has been beat to hell. There is no warranty. And me paying $80 for a brand new part is OK for me.......considering the dealer was gonna charge me $735 for the high pressure hose, which is not even the problem, which they probably would have put on anyway....??? Sorry you can't join us for wings and whatnot.

And we'll get out to Bastrop again real soon!
