View Full Version : Dec. event 15th/16th/17th?

Ok, I'd like us to have a camp out before Christmas. It could be FLTTORA Christmas campout if you guys want but I was thinking a large group with all the area 4x4 clubs/groups. The non TTORA club/groups that I had in mind was the Land Cruiser guys over at IH8MUD.com, Gator4x4, Clay County 4x4, and the Nissan guys. The only weekend I have free in Dec is the 15th, 16th, and 17th. Oklwahah would be the best location cause its close to all the wheeling areas. Wheeling at BOSTON will be a must!


What is everyone's thoughts on this? Any ideas anyone has post them.

Lets camp at Boston. Down in the grassy part at the bottom :D

I'm down for camping and I might could get some other losers to come too.

A campout is cool. We do have to consider though, if we do get all those other groups with that many people, we will not want to go to boston. Not only because it sucks with too many rigs but if we expose it to all those people, over-wheeling is inevitable and we all know what happens after that...

The Boston trip would be a trip that would offered to only a few of the other groups members. If you guys wants to camp at Boston then we can do a large group camp some other time.

Would it even be legal to camp at boston? I would love to do that but not at the risk of getting it closed...

I think a small group 4 to 6 4wds would be fine. As long as we don't go out there and have a wild and crazy party I don't think anyone know we were out there.

Yeah we'd have to keep it quite and maybe do it like back to the back of the pit but I think we'd be fine.

Like I said I would love to do this but you still have to remember all the houses around that area that would easily spot any fire. And I am not going without a fire cause its gonna be fawking freezing!!! :eek: If we are going to do it we should just go to oklawaha or maybe if anyone knows of a good campground thats closer to boston...I just really dont want to see us lose the best wheeling spot in florida (arguably) just because we did something dumb...:2cents:

Um Bryan...

You do remember this is a PIT right? As in a pit where the bottom is 40 feet below the ground? How is anyone going to see fire? Considering that the nearest house is at least a hundred yards from the rim.

I know, I just dont want to lose our pit. Plus theres no showers or bathrooms. Not that I am not into ruffing it but us guys can get a little "funky" smelling and I am not fond of $hitting in the bushes! :rofl: But who am I kidding. It would be freakin cool to actually camp where we wheel! :cool:

I wasnt really serious about camping at BPit, I'd get creeped out being at the bottom of that pit at night camping.

Ryan after watching how crazy you get when you walk into one of those big ass spiders, I'd hate see how you'd get at night at the bottom of the pit. LOL I really wish Nick would gotten your "oh shit it's a big spider and I walked into it" dance.

I dont know if I can camp but definately would want to make a day run and hook up with you guys.

The Land Cruiser guys from IH8MUD.com will be camping out this weekend and wheeling Boston if you wanted to tag along.
