I have a 2005 2.7L access cab 4x4. What I would like to know, since I'm going to self-install ALL synthetic fluids in the front & rear diffs and tranny, What EXACTLY is the number I need for front, rear and tranny........ Toyota dealer here is telling me two different numbers. I am probably going to use Ammsoil, but suggestions would be appreciated as well.
Thanks. :)

Have an owner's manual?

Look in the owner's manual. It'll tell you what the factory grades are. Then you can probably e-mail Amsoil with those specs, then they'll recommend the equivalent in their product. At least that's what I've done with RedLine.

Three questions for you:
Auto or manual tranny?
Is your 05 still under warranty?
How will this affect warranty?
If your tranny is an Auto, there is a fill/check plug on the side, drain plug on the bottom. Easy to do.
