Hi guys!

I'm pretty sure I'm going LT on my 06 Dc Taco. When it comes to the front glass, Im not sure who I want to install them. Is there anybody in SoCal that can recommend a killer installer, somebody that takes there time and prides themselves in their work? I want my shit lined up the best it can be. Who do you guys recommend??!

Thanks for looking.

DMZ did mine. And I brought them painted. Demello jacked up RYGUYs up so bad he had to buy another set. I've seen some where you can run your finger down between the hood and fender.
My wife didn't even know that I had glass on the truck for like a month. So I'd go with the DMZ. If you want your stuff to look propa.

Call up DMZ, Blitzkrieg, Castle Fab, or Camburg. I did my own though, twice ;)

I just washed it! Trust me it's a lot more scratched than you think.

Where you located? That might help narrow down your choices...

I'm in the same boat as genrec. The glass I have is used and a little warped so the corners don't fit right and I want it to looks as clean as possible. Basically, the glass is only warped where the corners fit in and I have no experience (or time) to try and fix it. Are any of the above mentioned shops gonna charge me an arm and a leg to set the corners in and fix my glass? (they are painted, but it'll need to be redone because white is a whore to match right)

Oh I'm in Lake Forest, I pass through there cause I go to Saddleback. Well if Adam or Glassworks can't do it and you want to try it on your own let me know I might be able to help even though it's an '05. It's easy just time consuming and tedious haha.

Well It depends on if you want it done right or not. I found a great place, Costs about 650 but they do a bunch of great work. They sand them, prep them etc.. Then blend paint them.. Let me know, Ill give you the place to get them.

ya.. 1 day paint and autobody charges $400 and they do shitty work. Its nice when you pick it up, but about 6-9 months later when warrenty runs out it starts to look dull!

If ya want it perfefct its gonna cost $$$

Me - I just put em in myself.

Mine is an off road truck not a show car.
If it looks good from 10' that fine by me.

I had a problem getting them painted cause the body shop I asked to shoot em wanted $$$ to sand and finish etc..

I took him over to the truck and said - look at this POS.
10' rule.
Dont sand fill the scratches inthe glass - just shoot it with the OEM color "Toyota 033". I dont care it it wont blend in...

I probalby paid too muhc ($100) and yeah I know yer not supposed to paint em before ya mount em but hey - it looks fine IMHO

wow $100 is cheap.. Considering that clear coat costs way more than that and the paint is $80 a gallon. Go figure.

I like that the 10 ' rule...add 60mph across the desert rule to that and you get my truck. I agree with not paying money for this shit if you actually wheel you will be blasting through bushes, down tight trails, and getting rock and roost chips all over. mine are still painted flat black primer and i think they might get a coat of black gloss and a coat of clear soon just to clean em up for a while.
