Baja Trip Bringing Dog

I'm doing a baja surf trip to bring new the year. I wana bring my dog. I read that I need to bring proof of rabies and vaccination. Are there any other hassle I have to do deal with?

And where is best place to get insurance for the truck? I know there some place online to get them.

You need your papers to be perfect for the dog. It is a bitch. As for insurance, the place is right off San Ysidro Blvd. Right off the 5 fwy. ??Mex1 insurance, something like that. If you are on top of things, the easy way is through Vagabundos Del Mar. Like AAA for Mex. Maps, insurance, info. Don't count on free towing...the dog may slip through going into Mex. But on the trip out, you will need the right documents, or the dog will have to stay behind. Plus, if the dog bites one of the locals, think of allthe diseases he might get....

I guess you need a International Certificate of Good Health. Call the vet to make an appt. Fucking cock suckers, they are going to charge me 60$ just to fill out the form. They are already raped me last week when I took Indy for his annual check. Its 40$ just to see the doc.

How do you guys deal with requirement of getting the certificate wtihin 72 hrs of departure. Its a fucked requirement because I'm leaving on the 27th and vets are closed for Xmas
