Hey all,

I am planing my build to start early next year. I am almost convinced to cage the bed and go with the 62" deavers, but I am not building a race truck, just a weekend toy and a daily driver. Are there any other options that would allow me to keep my stock bed and still have a rear end that can keep up with a front LT?

I am fully aware that i will not able to get close to the performave offered by the 62's, but if there are any other idea's out there, that would help me decide.

Thanks

John

Sure are. 7-8 pack from Deaver and 12" Bilstein 7100's mounted under the bed will get 'er done. You could even upgrade to 2.5" shocks if you want. I would recommend going SAW due to the shorter shock body which will allow more travel with a mild lift. Talk to Jesse AT TLT and for the 7100 option check out Jason.

You could have searched, this has been covered like 50 times.

I knew about the cantilever systems but it seemed more complicated than the what its worth, and well beyond my fabrication skills.

Sorry, I should have ruled that out in the begining when I posted.

I have been searching and lurking, but it seems like most people here use the 62's or go full link'd.

I maybe wrong, but it has been hard to find info on what people do for non-race rigs.

Thanks again.

Uhhh I don't race and neither does most the guys on here and I have 62's, and I know Nate is linked and doesn't race either. I COULD race it if I wanted to, but I'd have to cage it and add a fuel cell but I don't really have a budget to race on.
