Hey all,

I am new to the wheeling thing. I bought a FJC in August, went to Moab in October, and now I can't get enough. I have been busily trying to build the FJC for this spring. In addition to what I have already done, I am going to get 16" steelies with 255/85/16 BFG MT's - add a winch to the ARB bumper, add skid plates as they become available. Of course I have to build an offroad "kit" as well (tools, hi-lift, co2, etc).

I have spent many years Mt Biking and Dirt Biking, so at least I know about picking a line. I have realized that I still have a lot to learn. I hope to get out quite a bit this summer with you all and learn a bunch.

Hey Tony, I assume you are over near stagecoach res... :D My folks have a house near the gondola so Troy and I might get up there in the next few months for a visit.. in fact we could make it a meet and greet... It has 3 bedrooms, so we could make a CoTTORA weekend out of it!

It would be great to meet you...

Mmmmm Steamboat smokehouse gold wings RULE!

Thanks for the welcome!

Molly, you are right, I do live near Stagecoach Res. Actually about 6 miles back from the lake on the Lynx Pass road.

If you guys come up, I would definately be into getting together. The Ellis trail is on my list for this summer!! I think I have dirt biked parts of it, but never wheeled it.

Stagecoachco,

You and I talked about those 255/85r16s over in the Blue Board. I see you've been over there for a while.

Hey ya'll - don't leave me out of this Steamboat deal. I'll get Eric and we'll be there. Troy, get your planning hat on. I know Molly's got her moter running and her camera cranked.

Absolutely folks! I'm ordering new tires myself this week, so definitely need to break them in. We've also bee talking about GJ, but might be a bit wet there. How's the ground cover near Kremmling/Steamboat?
