MOVED UP?? More like moved back. (imo) I think it needs to be sooner than later.

Either way, I should be able to attend. Hopefully it's nice so we can sit outside.

Mike - I suggested to Derek to have it towards the middle of Feb since most of the 'stuff' gets done via email and over the message board. The 4th seemed a bit too soon in my opinion. Last couple years they've been about 4 weeks apart.

hey guys

i heard that AZR might be cancelled because of some greenie cant wheel these trails shite. is that not the case? can i still book my airline tickets in confidence that there will be a AZR this year?

AZ Rocks will happen this year for sure.........it's the future that is uncertain for some of the FJ trails. :(

Still need trail leaders:

Easy trails-Box Canyon, Montana Mountain,

Med trails-Hackberry/Powerline, Upper Woodpecker/lower Ajax

Hard trails-Overdose, Woody's Wash, Axle Alley

Also, Do not forget everyone will need land permits. Those that paid to join the ASA4WDC do not need to worry about this. You will get your permits.

I am 95+% sure that I'll be able to lead something. I would really like to wheel with the big boys at least one day though. I should have no issues with taking one of the med trails.

That's fine. I can lead stuff Friday. I can lead both days if need be. It would just be nice to wheel with a variety of people/trucks during the event.


As for the pig being ready. I might have a trail or two under my belt by AzRocks, we'll see how it works out. After all, my junk was supposed to be finished up no later than August or September. :rolleyes: _ _ it happens.

Just ask them which of the remaining trails that need leaders they would like to lead and then put them down for that trail. This is pretty much what happens every year - just be glad you have people volunteering! :)

Grumpy,

I was down at 4wheelers today and talked with them about the RTI ramp for the 5th - 7th and Brian said that it was fine. I will contact Brian a week before and finalize the pickup, but there shouldn't be a problem.

Just a question... was the ramp at Toy Box Auto 4Wheelers or did they make there own? If not the one at 4wheelers, does 4Wheelers have wheels and hitch or do I need to make room for that to fit on the bed of the truck along with all the crap that I will bring for AZrocks? I didn't see it when I was there and I have seen so many I cannot remember what theirs looked like.

That ramp was Toy Box's ramp. Wheelers has a nicely built ramp on wheels that tows like a trailer.
