Hello all.

I just signed up at the behest of another member.

Great site, and I'm glad I have a new forum to troll. But seriously, I hope I have some knowledge to bring to the table as I'm always running my mouth

On a more honest note, I'm a total noob when it comes to driving anything off pavement.

I'm running a 97 4 runner, 4 cyl, and nothing fancy about it. It is my every day vehicle, and when I figure out why I cant shift into 2nd I will be a happy camper.

I have done a few trails around ward/lefthand just for fun, but I have not interest in doing it alone anymore.

Welcome! We're trying to put together a stock/newbie run this weekend - join us! Best way to learn how to 'wheel is to, .... wellll ..... 'wheel! LOL

Any mods to the 'runner?

Yet another site to troll .... www.yotatech.com - TONS of info on 3rd gen 4Runners on there - bet someone has an answer to your shifting problem (my guess is shift seat bushing)

No mods yet, but after driving up to evergreen last weekend at 50 mph up I70, I'm thinking about a few suggestion to improve that embarrassment.
