I was gonna' use my birthday coupon for a free stir fry at BD's today, but I ended up going to lunch at Damon's with some bosses to discuss taking a job opening in San Antonio.

My territory would be everything West of Chicago, so there would be lots of travel. I'm just waiting to see what the company comes up with as far as position, salary, and relocation assistance to make my decision.

Oh and Corpus is more like three hours from S.A rather than 2 and the better fishing is in Port Aransas and Rock Port! But you already knew who to contact about San Antonio information didn't you?:D Oh and New Mexico is 9 hours outside of San Antonio, that is just to get to the border!

Awhile back I had an opportunity to buy a retired police car from a friend of mine. It was a crown vic and he wanted $1500 for it. I passed because usually the 4.6L mod motors in the crown vics are oil hogs, and by the time that they retire the cars they are usually beat to death anyway. I shoulda' jumped on it because I found out later that the department that he got it from had just replaced the motor in it. It had a brand new Ford Racing 351 Windsor crate motor with 128 miles on it. :(

I spent my lunch hour, and then some, replacing the two door pins and bushings on my driver side door. I had to break out the sawzall to cut one pin in half that wouldnt come out because it fused with the bushing. Fun times.

It's not nearly as easy as when I was installing fire alarms in the college dorms and sorority (sp?) houses on OSU campus. Nothing like standing on a ladder outside of a sorority house bathroom and watching the girls walk back and forth in nothing but a towel. Its even better when they stop and ask what you're doing, and you end up going to their room and talking about music, school, whatever :D Their standards were a little bit lower than the nurses.....LOL

It is SUPER yummy. There might be some green onion, but pretty much, beef, potato (they're kinda spicy), sauce, sour cream and cheese. Plus it's on the Value Menu! (like $1.29 IIRC)

6" meatball sub, a few measly potato chips, and a coke. Its not very filling. My boss bought it. I got the pleasure of spending my entire lunch break in a work meeting. My boss would rather have us do "work" during work hours so he schedules our weekly meeting during our UNPAID lunch hour so as to not take an hour out of our day that could be spent doing something productive. So, he gets away with spending $5 person for lunch rather than having to pay regular hourly rates to have the meeting during working hours.
