finally heard from Sandee. we might be getting our money back. Right now there is a bill to close all state land to OHV. we might need to get our permits
ourselves. Sandee suggested we wait till she gets back on Monday and see what she can find out.

As far as I know yes, but they have to sign it. Just print one up, fill it out and then take it down there. That is what I did last year. I ran in to the Dick (Dick Foster) while I was there also. He skerd the shit out of me! :eek:

at renewing our group permit. They want to wait until after April to see
what happens regarding the Dust Bill going through legislation. The gal is
new and really "goes by the black and white of the book" so it's hard
to get
any kind of answer from her.

I'm telling all the ASA4WDC people to purchase an individual permit for the
time being. Hopefully this will straighten out soon. I won't let it drop
and I'll let everyone know as soon as I know something.

This will give us blanket insurance plus land permits. This will cost ONLY those interested $20/year. The State Lnad Permit is issues to the club (AzTTORA) and the members that
paid the $20 will recieve a copy of the permit.

if you feel it neccessary to place BLAME somewhere it is the AZ land dept. they are the one who decided to not give out the permits (at least yet) because of the EPA and the dust BS. it is still being worked. the part the really sucks is that, for those that paid the 20 to join the assoc then had to pay again for the permit. AND again, if it is that big of a problem to any one
